Winter Doldrums

Well, it isn't officially winter yet, but I am ready for this cold weather to be behind us. This has been a day of hibernation, feeding a fireplace, reading, working on the new website and planning for this upcoming senior season.

The bulldozers left last week and we now have access to the entire 80 acres of the beautiful Elm Valley property. We have some beautiful hollows and creekbed scenery that were simply inaccessible the last couple of years. Now, we have trails that crisscross the entire property. And we are proud to announce we can now taxi everyone around on a new tandem seater Kawasaki Mule.

We pushed the cedars off of several hillsides and have ordered tons of wildflower seeds (well, maybe not tons, but several pounds :-) ) so we can have some fields of flowers. As you can visualize, we will be able to offer some really gorgeous settings for the most unique pictures you can get in this area.

Margie is getting ready for her monthly night out to play spades with her girlfriends and I am planning on a quiet evening having dinner with some of our best friends. Tomorrow is not supposed to be so windy and cold. Hoooray.
